Assessing Rajendra Agarwal’s performance as Meerut’s MP

A ground-level survey of the Meerut parliamentary constituency was conducted by India News to analyse the performance of Rajendra Agarwal, the Member of Parliament from Meerut, and gather voters’ feedback about him. Rajendra Agarwal, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won the Meerut Lok Sabha constituency in the 2009, 2014 and 2019 Indian general elections. BJP has won this seat six times so far, making it a stronghold for the party for the last two decades. Meerut, a city known for its historical significance in the 1857 uprising, is currently represented in the Lok Sabha by BJP’s Rajendra Agrawal. Located 113 kilometers from Delhi, Meerut holds a deep political history, being considered the center of Western Uttar Pradesh politics.
